We are sad to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Patrick “Gidge” Norton on Friday evening 9 April 2021, while at home on “Drummond Tor”.

Gidge was husband to Di, father to Philip, Julia and Michael, father-in-law to Sean, Craig and Julianne, brother to Deborah, David and Bookie (Barbara), and grandfather to Matthew, Daniel, Nicholas, Patrick and Ivy.

He was a respected community member in the KZN Midlands and will be missed and mourned by all who knew him. He will be remembered as a farmer, polo player, counsel, and friend to the many people that he came to know in his life.
